The Runaway Boys
The Runaway Boys are a three piece covers band based in Glasgow. The format of the band is guitar, bass and drums. The group is fronted by award winning guitarist/vocalist Stuart Colquhoun. On bass and backing vocals is Jack Smith, a renowned session musician who has played in various musical outfits throughout the UK. On drums is Peter Colquhoun, a well established Lanarkshire musician who has a plethora of experience in Scottish Showbusiness.
This all male, youthful yet experienced trio play music from every era and every genre. The band are very affordable, reliable and have a wide enough repertoire to satisfy any crowd. (Take a look at the sample Wedding Set List for an idea of the band's song variety)
The services offered from The Runaway Boys are as follows-
- Live performance from 8pm till midnight with two comfort breaks. (1x30mins and 1x15mins)
- We will arrive at your venue/ function at least one hour prior to the performance.
- We can provide 1x30 minutes set of pre-recorded Scottish Country Dance Music.
- We can also provide DJ/ Backing music services during our breaks and before the live performance.
- All sound and lighting equipment is state of the art and is provided by Stuart Colquhoun Entertainments.
Any other specialist requests can be dealt with for a negotiable fee. For example, if you really wish there to be a live Scottish Country Dance set this can be arranged by booking Richard Smith, a wonderful young accordian player from Lanarkshire, via Stuart Colquhoun Entertainments. Richard will accompany the band to your function and perform at a relevant point in the evening.
